HELINDIE PRETORIUS
Occupational Therapist
Helindie is the principal Occupational Therapist at Koala Paediatric Therapy. She is also a mother to two amazing children, and has personal experience with parenting challenges many parents face.
Helindie has been a practicing Occupational Therapist since 2012. She has since worked in various fields of Occupational Therapy, including largely paediatrics, public and private hospitals, medico-legal, adult and paediatric rehabilitation centres and in provided school based supports.
Helindie is passionate about finding the right supports for each child and family she works with, and enjoys working with families and communities to address everyday challenges children face. Helindie is DIRFloortime certified through the ICDL, and supports children using the DIRFloortime approach.
Her vision for Koala Paediatric Therapy is to grow and integrate neurodiversity affirming, evidence-based therapeutic supports offered in the community.
